Enjoy a cake-like, single-serve breakfast made with blended oats and customizable flavors, like chocolate chip.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener (maple syrup, honey, or sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small ramekin or oven-safe dish.
  2. In a blender, combine the mashed banana, rolled oats, milk, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
  3. Stir in the baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared ramekin.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool slightly before enjoying.
