A quick and easy dipping sauce for potstickers and dumplings, featuring a balance of salty, tangy, and spicy flavors. Adjust the heat to your preference. This sauce keeps well in the refrigerator for weeks.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (or more, to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili garlic sauce.
  2. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Taste and add more chili garlic sauce if you prefer a spicier sauce.
  4. Serve immediately with your favorite dumplings or potstickers.
  5. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Notes

  • For a milder sauce, start with 1/2 teaspoon of chili garlic sauce.
  • For a tangier sauce, add a little more rice vinegar.
