A no-bake layered dessert featuring vanilla wafers, creamy pudding, and whipped topping, perfect for summer gatherings and make-ahead parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 (11 ounce) package vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk until well combined. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain.
  3. Layer half of the vanilla wafers in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Top the wafers with half of the mandarin oranges and half of the sliced bananas.
  5. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the fruit.
  6. Repeat the layers: remaining vanilla wafers, remaining mandarin oranges, remaining sliced bananas, and remaining pudding mixture.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use a homemade vanilla pudding instead of instant.
  • Add a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers on top for extra texture.
