- 8 hot dogs
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 16 small candy eyes
- Mustard or ketchup for serving
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 thin strips.
- Wrap each hot dog with 2-3 strips of dough, leaving a small gap for the ‘face’.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Once slightly cooled, attach two candy eyes to each hot dog using a small dab of mustard or ketchup.
- Serve warm with your favorite condiments.
Notes
- For a crispier mummy wrap, you can brush the dough with a little melted butter before baking.
- Make sure the candy eyes are securely attached before serving.
- These can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
