Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 16 small candy eyes
  • Mustard or ketchup for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 thin strips.
  4. Wrap each hot dog with 2-3 strips of dough, leaving a small gap for the ‘face’.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Once slightly cooled, attach two candy eyes to each hot dog using a small dab of mustard or ketchup.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite condiments.

Notes

  • For a crispier mummy wrap, you can brush the dough with a little melted butter before baking.
  • Make sure the candy eyes are securely attached before serving.
  • These can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
