Juicy steak cubes seared in a skillet with garlic butter. This is a quick protein option for weeknights or an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Work in batches if necessary. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
  5. Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and rosemary. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the steak reaches your desired doneness.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For skewers, let the steak bites cool slightly and thread onto small skewers.
