Quick and easy grilled cheese roll-ups, perfect for kids’ lunches or as a snack with tomato soup.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Trim the crusts off each slice of bread.
  2. Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
  3. Place one slice of cheese on each flattened bread slice.
  4. Roll up the bread and cheese tightly.
  5. Spread softened butter on the outside of each roll-up.
  6. Grill in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Serve with your favorite tomato soup for dipping.
  • These are great for lunchboxes as they can be eaten cold.
