Easy and quick grilled shrimp skewers with garlic and lemon, perfect for summer salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
