Fun cupcakes baked in ice cream cones, perfect for kids’ birthday parties or summer celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • Ingredients for cake mix (eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 (16 ounce) can vanilla frosting
  • Food coloring (pink, blue, yellow)
  • Sprinkles
  • Waffle cones

Instructions

  1. Prepare cake batter according to box directions.
  2. Fill waffle cones about two-thirds full with batter.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Let cones cool completely.
  5. Divide frosting into three bowls. Add a different food coloring to each bowl.
  6. Frost the cooled cupcakes with the colored frosting, swirling to create an ice cream effect.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles.
