A refreshing pitcher cocktail perfect for summer parties, featuring ripe peaches and your choice of white or rosé wine. This make-ahead drink is easy to prepare and customize.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry white or rosé wine
  • 1/4 cup brandy or peach schnapps (optional)
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups sliced ripe peaches
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Sparkling water or club soda, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, brandy (if using), orange liqueur, and simple syrup. Stir well.
  2. Add the sliced peaches, strawberries, blueberries, and mint leaves to the pitcher.
  3. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. To serve, fill glasses with ice. Pour the sangria over the ice, ensuring you get some fruit in each glass.
  6. Top with a splash of sparkling water or club soda.
  7. Garnish with extra peach slices or a sprig of mint, if desired.

Notes

  • For a sweeter sangria, increase the simple syrup. For a less sweet version, reduce it or omit it entirely.
  • You can prepare the sangria base up to 2 days in advance. Add the fresh fruit and mint a few hours before serving for the best texture.
  • Experiment with different fruits like raspberries, blackberries, or kiwi.
  • Consider adding a sliced orange or lemon for extra citrus flavor.
  • This recipe is a great base for meal planning, offering a refreshing option for gatherings.
