A simple and quick make-ahead breakfast jar combining oats, peanut butter, and banana. Perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional protein boost: 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, peanut butter, mashed banana, sweetener (if using), and salt.
  2. If adding protein powder, stir it in until well combined.
  3. Stir everything together until the peanut butter is fully incorporated.
  4. Cover the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats and add a splash of milk if they are too thick.
  6. Top with fresh banana slices or other desired toppings.

Notes

  • For a thinner consistency, add more milk.
  • Experiment with different nut butters like almond butter or cashew butter.
