A quick and creamy ramen dish with bacon, egg, and cheese, perfect for late-night cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package instant ramen noodles
  • 2 strips bacon or pancetta, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the pan.
  2. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, but drain them, reserving about 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add the drained ramen noodles to the skillet with the garlic.
  6. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the noodles, tossing quickly to coat. The residual heat will cook the egg and create a creamy sauce.
  7. Add a splash of the reserved noodle water if needed to achieve a silkier sauce.
  8. Stir in the cooked bacon and optional red pepper flakes.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
