A simple and hearty recipe for baked buffalo wings, perfect for game day gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Blue cheese dressing and celery sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the hot sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy.
  4. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Arrange the coated wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 40-50 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are cooked through and the skin is crispy.
  7. Serve hot with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can place them on a wire rack set inside the baking sheet.
  • Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your spice preference.
  • These wings are a great appetizer for any party or gathering.
