A comforting and creamy broccoli cheese casserole, perfect as a side dish for any meal.

  • 1 pound broccoli florets, fresh or frozen
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed butter crackers
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook broccoli according to package directions until tender-crisp. Drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Add the drained broccoli to the soup mixture and stir to coat.
  6. Pour the broccoli mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the crushed butter crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the broccoli.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
