Create impressive, crowd-pleasing Buffalo Chicken Sliders baked on soft Hawaiian rolls with melted cheese. This recipe delivers bold, balanced flavor perfect for game day or any gathering.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
Slice the entire package of slider rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected in one piece. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
Distribute the seasoned chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
Sprinkle the Monterey Jack/Colby cheese and cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup melted butter with any optional topping butter/parsley mixture. Brush this butter mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are lightly golden brown.
Slice the sliders apart carefully between the rolls. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
Notes
For extra juicy chicken, mix 1 tablespoon of cream cheese into the chicken and sauce mixture before assembling.
If you prefer a tangier flavor, add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to the chicken mixture.
These sliders are excellent served with celery sticks or carrot sticks to balance the heat.
