Create a comforting, flavorful dinner with this simple baked Caesar chicken recipe. Juicy chicken breasts are coated in a creamy Parmesan and Caesar dressing mixture, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for crispness)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, pepper, and salt until well combined. This forms your creamy Parmesan sauce.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce mixture evenly over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.
  4. In a small bowl, toss the breadcrumbs with the olive oil. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the sauced chicken breasts.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Let the baked Caesar chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can lightly pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before coating them. This helps them cook uniformly.
  • If you prefer a richer topping, add 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the breadcrumbs before baking.
  • This dish pairs well with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or a light Pinot Grigio.
