Create incredibly soft and chewy cookies using just a box of cake mix, eggs, and butter. This simple baking hack delivers homemade cookies in minutes, perfect for quick desserts or beginner bakers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the entire box of cake mix, the two eggs, and the melted butter.
  3. Mix the ingredients with a spoon or spatula until a soft, uniform dough forms. Do not overmix.
  4. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers look slightly soft.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Switch the cake mix flavor to chocolate or lemon for instant flavor variations.
  • For extra chewiness, slightly underbake the cookies by one minute.
  • You can add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips or sprinkles to the dough for extra texture.
