1 tablespoon lemon juice or salt water (for preventing browning)
1/4 cup caramel sauce
2 tablespoons melted chocolate
2 tablespoons melted peanut butter
1/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1/4 cup granola
2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shredded coconut
Optional: Date caramel sauce (1 cup pitted dates, 1/4 cup water, 1 tsp vanilla extract, pinch of salt – blend until smooth)
Instructions
Wash and core the apples. Slice them thinly into wedges or rounds.
Immediately toss the apple slices with lemon juice or dip them in salt water to prevent browning. Pat them dry.
