  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small shallot, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Do not let it brown.
  2. Add the minced garlic and shallot to the melted butter. Cook gently for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
