Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
1 cup Catalina dressing
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup black olives, sliced
Instructions
Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and cook according to package directions. Let cool.
In a large bowl, combine shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, crushed Doritos, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, and sliced black olives.
Add the cooled taco-seasoned beef to the bowl.
Pour Catalina dressing over the salad.
Toss gently to combine. Serve immediately or chill for later.
Notes
To prevent the Doritos from getting soggy, add them just before serving.
For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
This salad can be assembled a few hours ahead of time. Keep the dressing separate and add it just before serving.
