Make quick and tasty pizza bagels using your air fryer. These are loaded with melty cheese and pepperoni, perfect for a fast dinner or snack.

  • 4 plain bagels, halved
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced beef pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the bagel halves cut-side up in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to work in batches.
  3. Spoon about one tablespoon of pizza sauce onto each bagel half. Spread it evenly.
  4. Top the sauce with mozzarella cheese, distributing it evenly over the sauce.
  5. Place 3 to 4 slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese on each half.
  6. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the toppings, if using.
  7. Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly and the bagel edges are slightly crispy.
  8. Carefully remove the pizza bagels from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For an oven method, bake at 400°F (200°C) on a baking sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • You can substitute toppings like cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
  • Use day-old bagels for a slightly firmer base that holds up better to toppings.
