Make this irresistible Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread for a warm, savory appetizer or side dish. It features a soft interior packed with gooey melted cheese and a buttery garlic crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or a 1.5-quart bundt pan.
  2. Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Place the pieces into a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the biscuit pieces and toss gently until all pieces are coated.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella, cheddar, and all of the Parmesan cheese over the biscuit pieces. Toss lightly to coat.
  6. Transfer half of the coated biscuit pieces into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  7. Top with the remaining biscuit pieces and the rest of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Press down lightly.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes before carefully inverting it onto a serving plate. Serve warm for the best gooey texture.

Notes

  • For an extra savory flavor, brush the top with a little extra melted garlic butter immediately after removing it from the oven.
  • You can substitute the biscuit dough with homemade yeast dough if you prefer a from-scratch base.
  • This bread pairs well with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or a light-bodied Pinot Noir.
