A simple recipe for sweet and comforting fried apples, perfect for a fall dessert.

  • 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add apple slices to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften.
