- 1 loaf French baguette or Italian bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, butter-side up.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the butter is bubbly.
- Slice into desired portions and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of black pepper to the butter mixture.
- If you don’t have fresh garlic, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
- For a crispier crust, you can broil the bread for the last 1-2 minutes of baking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
