Create rich, melt-in-your-mouth peanut butter fudge using only four simple pantry staples. This no-bake recipe delivers creamy, old-fashioned flavor with minimal effort, perfect for quick treats or holiday gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened butter, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, mixing on low speed until fully incorporated. The mixture will become very thick.
  4. Press the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth the top surface.
  5. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm enough to cut.
  6. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into 1-inch squares. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For the creamiest texture, make sure your butter is truly softened, not melted.
  • Sifting the powdered sugar prevents lumps in your final fudge.
  • This recipe makes a fantastic homemade candy gift when wrapped individually.
