Ingredients
Scale
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup crushed candy canes, plus extra for topping
Instructions
Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the mixture is completely smooth and melted. This usually takes 1 to 2 minutes total. Do not overheat.
Stir in the peppermint extract and vanilla extract until fully combined.
Fold in the 1/2 cup of crushed candy canes.
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the top evenly with extra crushed candy canes.
Refrigerate the fudge for at least 3 hours, or until firm enough to slice.
Use the parchment overhang to lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into small squares before serving.
Notes
For a layered look, you can melt a small amount of semi-sweet chocolate separately, swirl it into the white fudge base before chilling, and then top with crushed candy canes.
