Ingredients
Scale
1 package (16 ounces) frozen bread dough, thawed
1 cup pepperoni, thinly sliced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
Grease a baking sheet.
Unroll the thawed bread dough onto a lightly floured surface.
Press the dough into a rectangle, about 10×15 inches.
Sprinkle the pepperoni slices evenly over the dough. If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the pepperoni.
Roll the dough up tightly, starting from one of the long sides, like a jelly roll.
Cut the roll into 12 equal slices.
Place the slices cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Cover the rolls loosely with plastic wrap and let them rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until puffy.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of garlic powder to the dough before baking.
These rolls are best enjoyed warm.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
