A simple and popular party appetizer made with mini hot dogs wrapped in crescent dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (16 ounce) package mini hot dogs
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create thinner strips.
  4. Wrap one strip of dough around each mini hot dog, starting from the wider end and rolling to the tip.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For a crispier finish, you can bake them for a few extra minutes.
  • These are best served immediately after baking.
  • Consider serving with ketchup, mustard, or cheese sauce for dipping.
