Create the iconic Disney-style pineapple soft-serve at home with this easy copycat recipe. This version uses simple ingredients for a creamy, dairy-free frozen treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup full-fat canned coconut milk, chilled
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional, for tang)

Instructions

  1. Ensure your coconut milk is well-chilled so the cream separates from the liquid. Scoop the thick cream into a blender, discarding the liquid.
  2. Add the frozen pineapple chunks, powdered sugar, and lime juice (if using) to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times. If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of the reserved coconut milk or water at a time until it reaches your desired soft-serve consistency.
  4. For the classic swirl, transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe into bowls or cones.
  5. Serve immediately for the best soft-serve texture.

Notes

  • For a firmer texture, you can freeze the blended mixture in a loaf pan for about 30-60 minutes before scooping or piping.
  • Adjust the powdered sugar to your preferred sweetness.
  • If you don’t have a piping bag, you can simply scoop the Dole Whip into bowls.
