Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 container (8 ounces) sour cream
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning
  • 1 cup prepared guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (2.25 ounces) sliced black olives, drained

  4. Pour the salsa over the guacamole, ensuring it covers the surface.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the salsa.
  6. Arrange the drained black olives over the cheese layer.
  7. Top with the diced tomatoes.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  9. Serve with tortilla chips or your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • Using a clear glass dish allows you to showcase the beautiful layers.
  • You can adjust the amount of taco seasoning to your preference.
  • For a spicier dip, use a medium or hot salsa.
  • Consider adding a layer of seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken between the bean and sour cream layers for a heartier version.
  • This dip can be made a few hours ahead of time.
